What does a gig look like?

• Relaxed
• People sitting, resting, eating, drinking, and having fun
  
• People laughing, crying, sighing and smiling
• People usually lounging around tables
• Causal attire

Format

• Gigs are usually two hours [can be less, can be more]
  
• Two halves with a break in the middle
• Gigs are always very relational
• They can be quite deep and quite funny
• Among other subjects I do talk about my life with God. [Though if requested will not do this]
• I do not proselytise
• If you have a theme that you would like me to speak on, I will try to accommodate it

Preparation

• I provide a generic poster
• You need to advertise the event
  
• Facebook pages are good
• Decide if you want other people to participate
• The gigs work best with drinks and nibbles

Venue

• Anywhere works
• Homes
• Churches
• Cafes
• Bars

Fees

• Gigs are totally free
  
• I am honoured when a collection is taken to cover costs

Set up

• I need a microphone and speaker. This is regardless of the size of the venue
• I prefer to sit on a tall bar stool
• I need a table or music stand close by. This is to put my water and words on
  
• I like to be in a venue where I can have eye-contact with the entire audience
